Ever since I was a kid, I've been that person with a camera glued to their hands, figuring out the magic of developing and printing film. Seeing a picture that I took emerge from the blank paper in the darkroom is pure magic, I grew into photoshop and digital cameras, embracing the creativity that the new medium made possible.
I’ve never not loved photography. For several years, I left the photography world to take care of a family member, and changed careers for almost a decade. But, in 2019, I decided to return to my true calling and pursue my passion for creating. I had a learning curve because things had changed a lot in ten years, but It was exciting to be learning again. Storm Falcon Studios was born out of passion and is fueled by a love for fine art and a knack for capturing life's beautiful moments.
So, here's the deal – I'm not just your run-of-the-mill photographer I live and breathe this stuff. From selling fine art prints, to capturing the joy of weddings, to making a product look epic, to helping a brand find their style , I've crafted a journey that's all about passion and commitment to the art. Now, my new studio isn't a space in someone's garage, it’s not a part-time persons spare bedroom, it's a sleek, modern space with all the digital bells and whistles. Think of it as a playground for portraits, headshots, and product photos. I've got the modern tech of digital cameras, lighting, and computers to be as creative as I want. I also have film cameras and can create the old school way, the way I originally learned photography. It feels good to load up a camera and shoot those 24 frames without a view screen or other modern artifacts. Just me and the camera, taking the time to get the shot perfect.
I’m telling you all this so you understand where I’m coming from, what I’m about and where I’m coming from with my art, because I want to work with more people and create more beautiful images. Landscape shots, weddings, portraits, headshots, product shots, they all have their own challenges and techniques that make them special. I want to work with brands and individuals so I can explore my creativity while creating meaningful work with other people.
